🛡️ UK's First Fully Compliant 13A EV Outdoor Socket (BS 1363-2 EV)
For reliable, long-term Electric Vehicle charging, the IET Wiring Regulations (722.55.101.0.201.1i) require dedicated 13A UK sockets to meet the demanding new BS 1363-2 EV standard. Most standard sockets fail this test, leading to potential failure when sustaining the long-term load of an EV charger.
We are pleased to offer one of the first fully compliant 13A EV sockets available in the UK. This socket is engineered specifically to handle the continuous 10A load drawn by a portable EV charger, ensuring maximum safety and durability for your installation.

What cable length should I go for?
What cable length should I go for?
There are two main considerations when choosing the best cable length.
1. The cable should run loosely along the ground to reduce the risk if tripping. If the distance between your power source and your car is 7-8 metres, go for a 10 metre cable.
2. Think about where you are likely to charge your car the second most often and make sure you allow enough cable to reach your power source at both locations comfortably
