Super reliable charger that works perfectly with my Audi. It’s a lifesaver for when I’m out and about

As a new EV owner, I thought it prudent to buy a 'granny charger' and settled on Third Rock's product after a bit of research, a UK based family business selling properly tested and approved chargers. The charger is well built and behaved impeccably. I realised that I have no need to invest in an expensive smart charger when my car is capable of scheduling the charging times and just needs the charger plugging into it, so as a result I've cancelled an expensive Pod Point charger and will be buying a Third Rock 7KW portable charger instead.

Well built charger... easy to use. Arrived quickly and efficiently. Have used it for 3 days and it's working just as expected. Well priced.

Excellent piece of kit. Recently bought an EV and have used this to charge the car overnight. Reduce the amps to 10 and happily charges all night.

Speedy delivery. Cable works great. I think instructions could be a tad better - I followed them and my car wanted me to “swipe my card” - however if I plug into the car first, and then plug into wall it works perfectly every time. I also wasn’t sure on what “power” choice to use - this could have been advised in the instructions too (unless it was and I missed it). Overall though super pleased and it does the job.

Works brilliantly. We've purchased this as we are wait to have an outdoor faster charger installed at home,for our electric car. This is great just to top up car battery from a normal house 3 pin socket. We don't do high mileage daily so happy to wait a few hours to charge.

Waiting for quotes to have an EV charger installed so got this as a stop-gap. It is great - so great in fact that I’m beginning to wonder if I need to go to the expense of having a charger installed, especially when I am hoping to move in the not too distant future.

Straight forward, charges at 13a not issue.

Superb quality, the best one I have used.
Easy to select what level of power you want to output.
We have solar and a full car charger but this one allows us to output much smaller amounts of power tonthe car when we choose to.

Charger arrived next day which was excellent. Packaging was good and the charger looked very solid. It was nice to have a bag as well. Not used yet as it’s a backup as I’ve got a home charger. Hopefully it will live up to the reviews.

Had the new charger for 5 days now. genuine 3+KW charging from this robust waterproof model. Much better and higher quality than the OEM charger supplied by Land Rover for my Range Rover Sport.

Great portable EV charger and does what it says on the tin.

Bought as a stop gap home charger until my hard wired charge point is installed, and using an existing socket on the 30A cooker circuit I can charge on the 13A setting without the plug (or socket) getting warm.

Takes a while to charge at 2.7kw, but that is no fault of the charger, and I will be able to use it as an emergency charger when I am away from home visiting, setting the charging current to an appropriate level for the socket/circuit being used.

Feels well made and sturdy, quick delivery and well packaged

It is a heavy duty product that appears to be very well made. The display is clear and cycles between two sets of readings, both of which give a clear indication of how the charging is proceeding.

Excellent product. Simple to use and quick delivery. I especially like the option of changing the ampage.

After looking at a few different brands, I went with Third Rock after reading great reviews with them. I was impressed it came with a 2 year warranty, when other brands only offered a year and that it had the energy monitor as well. It is great quality and comes with the bag. I have now used in a few times and seems to be working excellently. I did need to contact customer service after ordering and they were quick to response and very helpful. Would recommend.

Seems a nice bit of kit. Like that one can change the amps so with old wiring/hot day one can charge slowerand prevent overheating. Having the timer is useful too (delay charginbg until cheap rate) as cars do not always have the timers built in, relying on timers in the 7KW + home/commercial chargers.

10m cable works for me reaches most of my drive.
