Great product easy to install just perfect

Although I've only had the charger for a week, I love its charges my car well over night. And being able to set delay starts is very helpful for charging only at night between 12 midnight to 5am. I'm very happy with my purchase so far

I charge my Tesla model 3 from this socket without any over heating problems that plagued the previous non EV standard socket I used.

purchased the 15 m cable as the one supplied with the car (BYD) wasnt long enough and didnt really want to use an extension, i set it to 10 amps and charges quite quickly and only gets warm at the plug, the screen tells you all the info you need and is clear, although having a wall charger fitted this is great for emergencys and in my opinion well worth the money!

20m ev charging cable delivered on time with nothing to indicate that it was an ex demo product, I wasn't sure how a 20 m cable would perform but has been excellent product being able to fully charge my Vauxhall Grandland using only off peak power.

Haven't yet used, so can't comment on efficacy. Looks sturdy and fits neatly in the bag supplied.

As a retired electrical engineer, I needed to ensure that the EV charging cables advertised online met international standards before purchasing one.

Third Rock Energy was the only company that provided a comprehensive data sheet detailing the specifications and standards of their cables. Without this information, any malfunction could cause significant damage or costly repairs to my car.

After reviewing Third Rock Energy’s data sheet, I was confident in purchasing their EV charging cables.

I advise against taking risks if you’re unsure about what you’re buying, it may cost you more than you bargained for !

If you are going to charge your ev in a garage through a 3pin plug you need a top quality product with safety features and quality settings. So this device appears expensive but not if think about the risk involved with a poor quality device. You can set the amps as required and see a reading of kwh used. I have used the charger twice since it arrived and I am confident that it does the job giving me peace of mind.
